Restaurant Grand Hotel La Strada in Kassel

Very nice hotel. Noble impression. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I was stranded in Kassel for work during my CORONA time.

I have known La Strada as a place of good hospitality for almost 20 years. Our conference today went very well. The corona measures were implemented very reliably. So it can be recommended without reservation even in difficult times.

Very nice hotel, very good breakfast and also a delicious evening buffet. Live music in the evening and cozy rooms with large bathrooms. Everything perfect despite the pandemic.

The rooms are very spacious, the beds really good. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately the breakfast price is much too high and the evening buffet had seen better days. In addition, the evening buffet was worlds better. But always like to come back to one of the houses.

Nice hotel. Great seminar rooms and great rooms. Eating goes like this. :)

The view is a bit caky .... there was no shower gel..the cleanliness was good. And the staff is nice too

Room without air conditioning very hot. Large room, unfortunately no aircon, unfortunately no refrigerator, unfortunately no drinks machine in the hotel. Some things are missing that are now common in many hotels, such as a bottle of water (whether free or not does not matter) in the room. Likewise, a small minibar would not be bad (whether full or not irrelevant). Sleeping on the ground floor with the window closed is therefore not pleasant in summer temperatures. No fan in the room. Soap in the shower area was not refilled. Good breakfast buffet, good evening buffet that still offers a few choices despite Corona times. Singer and piano player in the lobby ... if you like, give the lobby area dignity.

The small blonde phat women at the reception was embrassing she can't speak English or German.

From the outside you cannot see what this hotel has to offer inside: everything is spacious, very well-kept. The staff is very courteous. The rooms are very modern with wide, good beds. We felt very comfortable there. We really enjoyed the breakfast, cold cuts are freshly cut for the guest, egg dishes prepared in front of our eyes, by really great employees. This is rarely found in this hotel category.

Super high quality hotel. Clean large room, bathroom with shower. There were cosmetics and toiletries available. Friendly service, sometimes very routine which the authenticity lacks, but always friendly. Great and delicious food. A recommended conference hotel.

Fantastic hotel

A good hotel to stay the night and they have a great breakfast.

The room was clean and in a good condition according to the age. The bathroom actually needs a modernization. The parking fees in the garage are in my opinion a bit high. The breakfast is very rich and the scrambled eggs are even freshly prepared in front of the eyes. The free bottle of water in the room is also a nice touch. I think the prices are justified for the situation. All in all, I spent a good night there.

That's how a hotel should be! Everything you need is available. The staff is very friendly and the room very good! Here I like to come back!

Big hotel. The rooms are well furnished and relatively clean. The bathroom needs a modernization. A bathtub as a shower and then without any separation is no longer up to date. The breakfast buffet is very rich and good. Nice hotel bar.

The excellent food is positive. The breakfast buffet is second to none. Much freshly prepared. The employees are very motivated and accommodating. Indoor pool (as in 2017) not in operation. Sauna 60 degrees, but 50 degrees (felt) in the gym

Big hotel. Good for meetings. Staff overwhelmed with large groups. Partly patzig. Food good, cleanliness too.

Room and hotel are ok. Food was very good. Most of the staff very friendly. Underground parking available for a fee. Unfortunately, the pool was broken 2 weeks and 2 devices in the fitness room did not go over 3 weeks. And the cleanliness can be improved in many places.

Good, well maintained hotel with functionally furnished rooms that offer plenty of space. Ideal for meetings. The food is just terrific. Everytime a treat. Large shopping center nearby. Also a nice spa with pool is available.

My favourite in Kassel.

Large hotel perfect for events. Room very large, modern and clean. Restaurant and bar service is excellent. Large variety of food and drinks. Fast service considering the smount of attendees

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights our first night we quickly dropped our luggage of and went out to sitesee, when we came back later on that evening we noticed the room was full of cobweb spiders and bugs over the beds. I wish I could show the pictures but for some reason this website won't let me post them. I hate to not recommend this hotel to anyone as it was a nice Hotel.   We unfortunately  had some personal items that were taken out of the room.  On top of the cobwebs we also found an old pair of women's underwear on the heater which made the room stink that we hadn't  notice until the next morning. When we were going out for the day we went to the front desk which the young lady we were talking to was quite rude and we asked to have our room cleaned from the underwear and cobwebs when we came back later on that evening the room was not cleaned we had to go down to the front desk again and ask to have somebody come up and clean this stuff out of our room. This unfortunately was at 10:30 in the evening when they came up they cleaned it they apologized however it wasn't until they left we realized that our personal items were removed. We again the next morning went down to the front desk to advise them and ask to speak to a manager. There was never a manager available when asked to speak with them. If you don't speak Deutsch stay away from this hotel. we never had our personal items returned or we're never given any reimbursement for these personal items which we got on our trip as souvenirs

Being at the hotel La Strada in the beginning f July, was a lonely experience as there where almost no other guests. Location is not good if you like to visit the city center, but close to the sports arena and the Bergpark. I will not use this hotel in my next visit to Kassel.

Very nice hotel reasonably priced rooms well presented.

A very nice hotel which is luxuriously furnished. The different restaurants offer very good food. The rooms are very large and comfortable and the connection to Kassel's city center is also perfect. You can get away indirectly by highway or public transport. The brunch and the rest of the culinary offer are at the highest level.

Very clean, new furniture, kind personnel, even live music in the lobby. Recommended!!!

It is a very good hotel, with very large rooms, the beds also (I think it is at least 2.2-2.5m wide), the bathrooms are spacious also. The hotel is pretty well positioned. I did not like the breakfast where you thought you were serving the norm

On arrival we were welcomed by the piano. It looks really chic and stylish. The rooms were clean and really nice. At breakfast there is a bar where sausage and cheese are freshly cut as needed. Definitely well meant, but as soon as a few people want something it means wait and the size of the hotel can happen.

Fully renewed from last visit, good accommodation and good customer service

God awful. Payed through the nose for terrible service and Wi-Fi that only worked when I layed in my bed facing the window, but nowhere else. Not worth it. Don't go.
